It has been a long while since I have written a post. One reason is because of my involvement in The Unique Healing Program. Due to the consistent changes in my physical and mental state I have read, edited, rewritten every one of my posts. In a few cases I have deleted the entire post. Why? Because doing this program has reaffirmed what I  observed about my health and those of others. This entails at least 30 years of personal and clinical work. At least.  The Unique Healing Program has changed my mind about what I hoped was true, and opened my mind to things I did not understand. A confusing road. I am daily reflecting on the time and money I have spent on education to help others and myself over the years.  Using my own body as a chemistry lab, past and present, is proving much of what Donna Pessin says to be true.

In brief, I can say that so many of the dietary and therapeutic programs I took part in never got to the heart of what needed to be addressed. That deep issue is the amount of environmental toxins present in our water, air and earth. They  have built up in my tissues, organs, and blood over the past decades. The weak digestive system that I was born with, these toxins helped to further degrade. The use of large amounts of sodium bentonite clay taken orally, over a long period of time, escorts these toxic elements out through the gut. It does it in a way that colonics, enemas, juice fasting, water fasting, etcetera can and does not for a vast percentage of those who give them a try. Do I think these past steps were a complete waste of time? No, but they did bit heal my gut and  body. That I am very sure of.

I was so perplexed by the use of so much clay on this program. I never had an easy time with colon cleanses such as Ejuva, Rise and Shine, Sonne. I felt more constipated and blocked and very frustrated. The crazy thing is that there was not enough clay, the right kind of herbs and proper direction to help me truly heal and  detoxify. I am so grateful that I opened my mind to taking so much clay. The colonic receiver and colon therapist inside me was opposed to the idea, but my body was saying go for it.

The Unique Healing Program really challenges the core beliefs of those involved all kinds of health movements, businesses, etcetera.  All the years and money spent. This alone can really keep the mind closed to a protocol like the Unique Healing Program.  These philosophies  that do not cure, prevent or eliminate illness will become clearer as time goes on. Programs based on the idea that diet can prevent and cure illness have already disproved themselves. The amount of toxic elements floating and deeply entrenched in our water, air and earth need more than organic raw or cooked food to cure the ingestion and accumulation of these elements in the human body.  I personally thought cleansing with colonics and a clean diet with digestive enzymes, food grade supplements and intermittent cleansing would eventually heal my constipation. It did not.

Some people who read this may assume that I probably did not eat cleanly enough, do enough cleansing, enemas, colonics and fasting. In years past, I would have thought the same thing if this was written by someone else. However, with all that I had done, I never got to the  point where I had regular, well formed, odorless, floating bowels, or just regular bowels period. That never happened after decades of all the above. In the end, it got me to Donna Pessin The Unique Healing Program and ultimately on the road to healing my gut and body.

At the age of ten I distinctly remember questioning the premise that illness just happens to us. The idea that every action has a reaction became a clear reason to doubt that I could not personally impact my own health. In my very early twenties I was introduced to the Macrobiotic Philosophy of Life and assisted a Macrobiotic Counselor in NYC over a period of ten years or more. My life took many twists and turns and I evolved from a trained dancer and performer to a Shiatsu Therapist, Yoga Teacher, Colon Therapist and student of different Spiritually oriented Mind Body Therapies at the Esalen Institute and other healing centers. My associations are as follows: Member of the AOBTA for over 20 Years Member of the NCCAOM for approximately 12 years Member of the Yoga Teachers Alliance 500 hours for approximately 12 years Colon Therapist [ Wood's Institute ] Since 1998 Along with studying REIKI [ 2nd degree ] I was part of a School based on the work of Railey Macey, Dr. Robert Jaffe and Hands of Light. Railey Macey was my teacher. Thank you for your interest in my blog. notyourrawmoma "Wherever you are be the soul of that place". Rumi
