HOW MY IMMUNE SYSTEM WEAKENED

SOME THOUGHTS

I am hoping this brief, thumb nail sketch history will help someone looking for support and clarity concerning their own health, or someone they know.

There are many factors that contribute to our health challenges. Certain things we may only be able to make suppositions about. What caused our Immune Systems to falter? One point that I feel is primary is to examine how we are all brainwashed into believing that consistently nagging, draining health complaints are normal. These issues range from acid reflux to hemorrhoids and constipation, debilitating menstrual cramps to athletes foot and psoriasis. They remain suppressed by medications, both over the counter and prescribed. Handled this way they are, without a doubt, a direct road to chronic health sicknesses and all that entails.

MY IMMEDIATE FAMILY HISTORY

To begin with my parents both had childhood illnesses that impacted each of them physically and emotionally. My father had a subdural hematoma in his early teens. Treatment for that head injury to relieve the pressure on his brain, the drugs Halidon and Dilantin for a period of time, and who knows what else. My mother had Osteomyelitis beginning at about age 12. This lead to 25 or more hospitalizations, surgeries and exposure to a myriad of antibiotics up to the age of 33.  Their health histories impacted me in numerous ways. Psychologically with their unexplained behaviors that were very confusing. Behaviors that ranged from fearless to overly cautious. Their words and actions were helpful to me in ways, and not so helpful in others. Stressful approaches to living that deeply impacted every aspect of life. Decisions they made due to, I am guessing, making  up for time they felt they lost due to their childhood illnesses. Illnesses that were close brushes with death that must have been terrifying for them.

THE HOUSE I GREW UP IN: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

The house was located in an area that became more and more highly trafficked over the years. Our home was positioned on a corner in a suburb 30 minutes outside of New York City. When we moved there hardly any cars would pass by, but as time progressed it became harder and harder to get out of the driveway without it being a very stressful experience. What was originally stop signs on each corner became traffic lights. One night a car crashed into our front door. Why did my parents not move from there? A somewhat complicated issue, but put simply they felt they couldn’t. The reasons for that are very personal to what they thought they deserved. My father lived in that house for over 40 years. and my mother died there. Life experience I have had with myself and others tells me that a weak immune systems can cause people to make decisions out of fear. It can also play out as taking crazy risks that put themselves and others at risk until they just can’t anymore. This was the strange dichotomy I grew up under. My mother was over protective and my father, well, let’s just say he often lacked good judgement in everyday situations.

ENVIRONMENTAL TOXINS

The house I grew up in had a big mold problem and, not surprisingly, was  notably cold and damp.

Growing up in the state of New Jersey was not a positive experience on many levels. Not to diss New Jersey, there are plenty of other places where environmental contaminants are record high for impacting the health of residents. New Jersey gets a bad rap on many levels and it is often deserved. I just saw a documentary about a Swim Team [name of the documentary] in New Jersey that is comprised of Autistic children. According to this documentary, 1 out of 23 children living in New Jersey have Autism. Within the past few years, here in the USA, Flint, Michigan has been in the news for lead contamination in water causing severe health problems in their residents. Evidently, it is becoming clearer that high levels of lead are present in tap water throughout the USA. This is due to a crumbling infrastructure. Degradation of building materials and poor decisions made concerning the quality of the materials originally used. Money before people.

DENTAL CONTAMINANTS. DRILL AND FILL, BABY

I was exposed to mercury and other dental contaminants as a child. There was an unnecessary amount of drilling combined with the toxic materials used. Then, as an adult, having my mercury fillings removed without the proper steps taken during and after removal. I did not know there were precautions to be taken back then. They were removed by a dentist that did not have a Holistic practice. Just get them out was my attitude. Big mistake. This was done in 1989 -1990. I have never gone to a Holistic dentist that has recommended that I take any specific action to negate the bacteria that is released into my bloodstream after cleanings, removal of cavities, replacements of fillings. I have to remark that this includes Huggins trained dentists. Why is this true of the Holistic / Huggins dentists that I have known? I am really not sure why, however, I would choose a Huggins trained dentist over a Traditional Dentist for a myriad of reasons. Over the past 20 years I implemented my own antibiotic protocol when having any dental work. What is a Huggins Dentist?

Bacteria and other toxins released in dental cleanings put stress on the immune systems of people. Many with root canals, dental implants, etcetera are already experiencing this stress. Most people do not know how, or are  not capable of releasing these toxins through and already overloaded bowel, urinary tract system, or lungs.

Toxins are released through our breath and breathing is shallow at best for most people. Also, living in areas where the air is polluted does not encourage people to breathe. We unconsciously  protect ourselves by not breathing. On another level, it is worth noting how many of us are truly adverse to breathing, and never ask ourselves why. Conscious breathing is an invitation to be aware of the present moment and to feel and not be on automatic pilot 24/7.

Having an air cleaner in the house is something to consider when living in areas where air quality is suspect.

EATING DISORDER

Bulimia, eating and vomiting, weakened every aspect of my health. This went on from age 16 to very early twenties, 23. A willful person, I was able to pull myself out of that behavior. This is a situation where the willfulness I learned from my parents worked for me in the best sense.

A FEW OTHER THINGS

Exposure to sick pets and not understanding the potential impact on my health. I did not know how to protect myself better at the time. I do now.

Physical and Sexual contact with people who had poor health.

Eating sushi regularly for a couple of years.

Inhaling smoke in ballet studios from childhood to age 30.

Dehydration, not drinking enough water as a dancer and athlete.

My great grandfather and grandfather worked in the steel mills in Chicago and Pittsburgh. My dad worked for US Steel as a teenager before going to college. I am sure this exposure to heavy metals had to effect the family line.

I hope my sharing this information is helpful. There have been other factors that I did not cover here, or I am not fully aware of. My personal experience with Root Canals is something I will write about in the future.

Dr. Jennifer Daniels, MD is the person that has helped me the most with finding strategies for healing. Some of her approaches challenged my past knowledge, and experiences. I am grateful that I opened my mind and followed her lead.

Thank you for reading.

HEALING WITH DR. JENNIFER DANIELS – ONE YEAR LATER

SPONTANEOUSLY HEALING: THERE IS NO PLAYBOOK

I am a participant in Spontaneous Healing with Jennifer Daniels, MD. For me healing this way, it is like peeling and onion. Unfortunately putting a piece of bread in my mouth has not stopped the sting of detoxification. This is my experience. Fortunately, I have had the wisdom of Dr. Daniels, and my own experience during this process. This has greatly helped me weather my storm. Anyway, here are a couple of paragraphs that may, or may not jive with everyone who reads them. Maybe it will make sense to, and inspire some.

DEEP HEALING: CENTRIPETAL AND CENTRIFUGAL SPIRALS OF ENERGY

Becoming a patient of Dr. Jennifer Daniels, MD and being a part of her Spontaneous Healing Program can, if one is willing, truly teach the patient how healing occurs. Deep healing is not a linear experience. Not many things, that I am aware of, in nature occur in a straight line. The spiral or circle of energy flow is a natural phenomenon.  Impatience and going from point A to B in a straight line is a human (faster is better) creation.  Much of Prescription Medicine, manufactured recreational drugs, super highways, planes, trains, guns, surgery, oil pipelines. These are some widely diverse examples of faster is better, cut to the chase ways to do things. This Time is Money, Hurry up and Relax energy is the underlying theme of most of Industrialized Society. Some of these things are born out of need and innovation, and abused out of impatience, fear and greed.

DEFINING, OR REDEFINING THE WORD SPONTANEOUS

Spontaneous Healing does not mean instantaneous healing, but it could. Healing happens in a series of steps. Steps we are aware or not aware of. Cause and effect, things happen in a series of steps, as in a circle, not a direct line. Defining or redefining what Spontaneous means, actually living it, is not always a comfortable experience, to say the least. What I am about to say may sound like a generalization, but I am sure it is not: People who are not well are often very controlling and spontaneity is not in their comfort zone. On the other side there are those that behave in a way that seems like they are spontaneous but in actually they are irresponsible. Their actions, either consciously or unconsciously, end up forcing outer forces, other people to step in an take charge / control. The irony is great on both sides.

From my own life experience people who are not well often feel unable to control their own situations. Out of frustration and fear they try to control others. I think this is a pretty common phenomenon.

Experiencing spontaneity in healing will either stretch a person, or they will reject it and look for a promise of a quicker fix. Spontaneity and Control are not synonymous with one another. This is true on or off of paper. The idea of control is a fantasy. Gong with the flow and listening to what our body needs is the healthy solution to creating some kind of feeling of control. That is true Spontaneity. This is a more healthy way of creating control in the truest sense of the word. This is not so easy a behavior to cultivate in a world of instant gratification, instant everything. We are living in a world that wages war on Cancer, nature and anyone who disagrees with their opinion destroying them verbally on the internet, and all other media. Our current Presidential Administration  here in the USA, is a prime and unfortunate example of this kind of behavior.

Working with Dr. Jennifer Daniels, MD is not for everyone. I can not think of any one program / product that is for everyone. There is great value in what she does for those that feel inspired to seek a different kind of solution.

DR. JENNIFER DANIELS, MD: BE YOUR OWN GURU

HEALING IS POSSIBLE IF GIVEN THE RIGHT TOOLS

A short response to some feedback I have received from the few posts I have written about my experience with Dr. Jennifer Daniels, MD.

I do not think Dr. Daniels is the answer for everyone.  I can not stress this enough. I am just relaying my experience.

It does disturb me that the cost of consulting with Dr. Daniels is prohibitive for most people. I do have to say that there are people I know who would benefit greatly from what Dr. Daniels has to offer. Most of them cannot in any way afford her services. What I also need to say is that even if they could they would not be interested in the protocols that she recommends. Look over her website and you will understand why. No quick fixes for most conditions. She does have remedies to help the process of healing be less uncomfortable that often work remarkably well.

For others it is a pedestal issue that I have observed over the years. I have witnessed people put practitioners, in most recent years Donna Pessin and Kerri Rivera on a pedestal. It has been a hard fall for all involved, especially Donn Pessin and her Unique Healing Program. Compassion for others is a sign of healing. The late Donna Pessin is someone to have compassion for.

Experience things for yourself first before telling friends and family that you have found the Holy Grail. I am very fortunate that none of the friends and family I told about The Unique Healing [ about 5 ] were at all interested. I knew it was a bad idea and stopped myself early on. I did write many posts about Donna Pessin and The UHP. I did compose them from the most honest and straight forward place. I was often critical and mentioned my need to augment The Unique  Healing Program with colonics, enemas and my own dietary knowledge that was not at all inline with Donna Pessin and her program.

One person has written me more than once about Dr. Robert Morse and her positive results with his protocol. He is someone I have done a small amount of research on. I think he is worth investigating.

Please do not put anyone on a pedestal. There is often pressure from family, clients and friends to come up with THE answer. There is not ONE. This can be especially true when people have followed your advice and things did not work out.

Everything I say here is meant whole heartedly. I am having my own struggles while working with Dr. Daniels. Part of what has helped me have success with her has been my own knowledge. There are things that she has come up with that have probably saved me from an Emergency Room visit. The Emergency Room is something I have done only once before, and was due to a bike collision 30 years ago.

I am a compassionate person, but what I have been through recently has made me more aware of why there is such a need for perscription pain medication in order to be functional. How I have managed to not use any is something I will try to write about in the near future. Please do not be hard on yourself for using drugs for pain. Please be relentless in your search to find other ways to minimize, or irradiate the use of these substances.

Again, Dr. Daniels in NOT for everyone. No one person is. Any issues I have had with her treatment has been more on a personal communication level and not on her demeanor, or expertise. Things that are truly not worth writing about in this forum. And I am NOT referring to her availability to her patients . She is there for those who are her patients.

Please excuse any typos. Corrections and links will come later today. : )

DR. JENNIFER DANIELS, MD: WHAT DOES IT ALL COST? THE PRICE TAG

WHAT YOU SPEND NOW COULD SAVE YOU MUCH MORE THAN MONEY DOWN THE LINE

In my case the money I have spent with Dr. Daniels has been well worth every penny. In retrospect, I wish I had started the Spontaneous Healing Sessions earlier, but I am VERY sure I would NOT have done that without knowing what I know now. What is that? That Dr. Daniels has an unique approach that involves all different kinds of healing modalities that she has used on herself and others. I have learned that incrementally. Maybe what I say here will save you time and money, or at least help you make a more informed decision. I hope so.

To get straight to it, Dr. Daniels offers two formats of consultations / sessions with her that I am aware of.  There may be others, but I am not clear about that at this time. Presently, I am part of her Spontaneous Healing Program. All current prices for sessions are available on the VitalityCapsules website. It is best to check there than my quoting prices here. Prices do change and sometimes specials are offered.  I do think that Dr. Daniels series of sessions [Spontaneous Healing] is a way to best implement a plan to obtain better health  A Discovery Sessions is one way to get your feet wet.  The Doctor Is In class, her radio shows, her online youtube interviews might be more economical ways to come to a decision for your best course of action. In essence, Dr. Daniels has a host of information that stems from her clinical experience with patients, her personal self healing experience. Without a doubt this saves time, money and effort for her patients. It could keep a person out of the Emergency Room. Through years of trial and error she has found ways to cut to the chase knowing what steps need to be taken in order to bring some kind of equilibrium to a body that is out of balance. This is no magic act. There is time and effort involved in this process by the patient. Everyones  is very different and the orchestration of treatment, directed by Dr. Daniels, is given from that knowledge.

WHAT IS EXPENSIVE? IT IS ALL RELATIVE

In the early 1990’s my mother was diagnosed with late stage throat cancer. An American citizen living here in the USA, my mother begrudgingly entered the hospital. Very, very wary of Traditional Medicine, my mother knew the drill from repeated childhood and early adulthood hospitalizations. When her weekend stay was over, she commented to me that all the money that was spent for that one weekend in the hospital, tens of thousands of dollars, happened in a blink of an eye. The Holistic Treatments that she hesitatingly took part in due to her fear of there cost, were nourishing and restorative. Her time in the hospital was neither nourishing or restorative. She did not enter the hospital via an Emergency Room visit, but her western medical diagnosis was dire in nature.  After leaving the hospital from that initial weekend stay came more frustrating and stressful series of events. More doctor visits, more hospital stays. Next but not least was the battle with her insurance company as to what they would cover. Yes, she was over 65 and had Medicare. What is Medicare in the USA?

I realize medical treatment in many other countries is  part of  a Socialized Medicine Paradigm. It is a very different system than here in the USA. However, the level of what is available through Socialized Medicine [different in each country] most likely often does not have a Holistic protocol as the primary theme of  treatment. Augmenting traditional healthcare seems to be a theme for people all over the world. No matter where we all live, we do not seem to be getting solutions that do not engage the use of Pharmaceuticals, Injections and Surgeries as the major forms of treatment.

So, what I am trying to say here is that when people tell me they think Dr. Daniels prices for her sessions are expensive I recognize that everything is relative. However, when going into a Medical Facility we give up our rights to control what happens to a great extent. In the name of Medicine the bill will go as high as the sky. On top of that there is not one bloody thing you can do about it after it is all done that will make getting well easier. Fighting with corporations, and that is what a hospital is, is not helpful to healing.

Dr. Daniels supplies a bevy of information on her site that represents what she does. Some answers can be found in her books, recordings, etcetera. There is a very reasonable fee for The Doctor Is In Class. This is a forum where each person can submit questions that are read [as they are written] and  answered by Dr. Daniels. Is this the same as her one on one sessions? No, but as I said earlier it is one good place to start.

VITALITY CAPSULES: MY DISCOVERY SESSION WITH DR. JENNIFER DANIELS, MD

My most recent introduction to Dr. Jennifer Daniels, MD  [ViatlityCapsules.com] came through a person I met on my search for some answers to achieving a healthier Digestive –  Immune System. I then began to listen to some interviews  of Dr. Daniels on youtube. With my interest piqued, I was motivated to explore her website further. It is true that about one year ago I had a reader of this blog contact me about Dr. Daniels. The reader mentioned Dr. Daniels use of Turpentine to heal Candida. At that time I was just beginning The Kalcker Parasite Protocol, and my information load felt extremely full. On top of that, the word Turpentine got an eye roll out of me. Turpentine? Paint thinner?  Quite honestly, I felt totally consumed with all that the Kalcker Parasite Protocol entails. If you are familiar with the Kalcker PP, you will know what I mean. So, with a overloaded and skeptical mind I took a  very quick glance at the Vitality Capsules Website, and that was that..

Before writing anymore about Dr. Daniels, I have to say that I did find the Kalcker  Parasite Protocol / Kerri Rivera Book [where the Kalcker PP is spelled out] very helpful in lessening my pathogen load. Thank you to Kerri Rivera for helping others while endoring a whole lot of criticism and mean spirited, highly immature behavior from others.

DECIDING WHETHER TO HAVE A SESSION WITH DR. JENNIFER DANIELS, MD

Dr. Daniels offers a write in question and answer session every month [Officer Hours]. I decided to experience this one time before having my Discovery Session with her. My experience helped me decide to have my Discovery Session. I had also begun Dr. Daniels Candida Cleaner Protocol approximately 2 1/2 months before having my appointment. Of course, this may not be the order of steps for others to take before making some decisions about what to do next. Next might be one of a few things: To have a Discovery Session with Dr. Daniels, or go further with her extended program called Spontaneous Healing. To choose to do either of these things is a commitment on many levels.

My experience with Dr. Daniels was very helpful to me. How? Well, mostly  due to her ability to listen and cut to the chase. I made our time more productive by being prepared for the session, and knowing what I wanted to focus on. Dr. Daniels directed me do this even further. One most important point that Dr. Daniels raised with me was to not overwhelm my body by trying to address too many health issues at one time. Keep things simple while addressing lowering the  inflammation in my body. How did she do that? By streamlining a strategy of healing steps. More specific ways for me to Hydrate, Remineralize, and Absorb the nutrients needed to heal while Detoxifying. Didn’t I know how to do this already? With all the information I have collected over the past number of decades?Apparently not.Old habits can die hard. Which leads to….

RATIONALIZING AND JUSTIFYING MAKES CHANGE HARDER

I am going to write more about my session with Dr. Daniels and how the advice she has given me, along with my own study is impacting my healing. I can say that brutal self honesty and patience are two important qualities that I am learning to  hone even further. These two things will only help my healing process. On a practical level practicing honesty and patience has already saved me time and money with Dr. Daniels. The other quality is self compassion. It is not so easy to be honest, patient  and compassionate with myself, or anyone else, 24 / 7. What an understatement! But as I feel better, it is becoming a more natural and easy response. A response that comes with being less inflamed and agitated biologically.
